Product information "Alfamacchine Universal - Power Twist V-Nails"

High-quality steel V-Nails from Alfamacchine, without magazine.
Version: MW/HW – suitable for medium-hard to hard woods and other dense materials.

The Universal V-Nails from Alfamacchine are designed for use with underpinning machines that are not manufactured by Alfamacchine, such as Cassese, Pistorious, Unimatic, Gielle, Morso, Brevetti Delta, Taurus, Framers Corner and others.

Alfamacchine Universal V-Nails are manufactured with Power Twist® pulling power, developed to improve the quality of mitre joints, for example in framed artworks or woodworking applications. The patented Power Twist® design pulls the joint tightly together, ensuring increased corner strength and durability.

A distinctive feature of Alfamacchine V-Nails is the special silicone-based coating formula used for stacking the nails. Instead of adhesive, a silicone formula is applied, as adhesive residue is a common cause of jamming in underpinning machines. The silicone also acts as a lubricant, ensuring that the V-Nails penetrate the material smoothly.

Alfamacchine Universal Power Twist V-Nails are available in various millimetre sizes.

Note:
The Universal V-Nails can be placed into magazines if required. For example, empty plastic magazines for hardwood V-Nails can be refilled with the Universal V-Nails with a bit of care and precision.
