The Safety Cutter is suited for cutting thin boxboard and thin corrugates. It is ideal for opening sealed boxes and the short blade length ensures that the package contents won’t be damaged. It has just enough exposure to slice the tape open. Slide the cutter’s protective metal sheath to cover or uncover the blade as needed. That way the cutter can be put into trouser pockets without the danger of injury. The metal sheath gives protection against accidents between uses. The blade is replaceable. As with all Slice safety ceramics the blade is oil and lubricant free, chemically inert and never rusts.

The Scalpel will be delivered including one ceramic blade (#10526). It is compatible with the Slice blades #10526, #10528.
