Premium Steel Cable with loop white coated - 1.5 mm Ø

White coated Stainless Steel Cable with a diameter of 1.5 mm. The Steel Cable features a loop for mounting it into sliding hooks and every other kind of hook suitable for hanging artworks. The Steel Cable is available in lengths from 0.50 m to 4.00 m. Due to our in-house production we are able to provide you with Steel Cables in individually desired lengths within a narrow time frame.

Thanks to the loop the Steel Cable can be quickly hung over sliding hooks that are already inserted into to the Gallery Picture Rail. This ensures an uncomplicated exchange of your artworks at any time. Because of their material properties the load capacity of Steel Cables is very high and they are particularly suitable for hanging heavy artworks.

Suitable for pictures with a maximum weight load of 10 kg.
The specified load capacity applies to hanging the picture with 2 Picture Rail Cords and 2 Picture Rail Hooks. The weight of the image must not exceed the load capacity, otherwise a secure suspension cannot be guaranteed. The maximum load capacity does not increase by using additional Picture Rail Cords or Picture Rail Hooks. For every suspension the maximum weight load is the smallest indicated load capacity.

If the Picture Cord length doesn't fit your needs we recommend you to stick it to the backside of your picture frame by using strong adhesive tape. If you wish to trim your Steel Cable the cut surface should be glued with superglue to avoid a split up of the single wires.

Please note that it is possible that the white coating flakes off where Picture Hooks are locked.
