gudy® 831 Fine Art – double-sided self-adhesive mounting film for high-quality prints

gudy® 831 Fine Art is a double-sided, permanently self-adhesive mounting film made from tear-resistant long-fibre paper. It has been specially developed for the fast, secure and bubble-free mounting of high-quality images and fine art prints, offering a durable, archive-safe bond.
It is ideally suited for photographs, fine art prints, art prints, inkjet prints, posters, calendar sheets, drawings and reproductions. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Easy handling – precise results

Processing gudy® 831 Fine Art is particularly user-friendly and time-saving:
The mounting film is first firmly rubbed onto the chosen substrate, such as cardboard, hardboard, chipboard, plastic or metal. After removing the release paper, the image can be positioned accurately and mounted precisely.

The integrated paper fleece reliably compensates for minor surface irregularities and ensures clean, even results, even on slightly porous materials.

Developed specifically for fine art applications

gudy® 831 Fine Art is a universal mounting film for fine art applications and is suitable for both smooth and textured fine art papers.

The mounting film is acid-free and water-based, with a paper-based carrier. The adhesive used is pH-neutral, ageing-resistant, solvent-free and permanently elastic. It prevents catalytic processes and ensures a secure, long-term bond on archive-quality or standard board materials. The high shear strength permanently protects the value of the print.

gudy® 831 Fine Art is PAT-certified in accordance with ISO 18916 and is therefore ideally suited for archive-safe applications. The film can be processed manually or mechanically, for example on Neschen laminators.
