Mounting tape for backframes 25mm x 50m

The mounting tape consists of a white closed cell polyolefin foam, coated on both sides with a solvent-pure-acrylate-pressure-sensitive-adhesive. The double-sided mounting tape is covered with blue silicone paper. The solvent-pure-acrylate-adhesive guarantees excellent temperature resistance, high adhesive strength and resistance to plasticisers, acids, alkalis and solvents. It shows inert behaviour towards a wide variety of mirror varnishes.

Processing information:

Before bonding, both surfaces must be cleaned with acetone or isopropanol. Our 3M Surface Cleaner Sachet (Art. 100072) is suitable for this purpose. Aluminium surfaces should be sanded with an abrasive pad and then cleaned before bonding! Remove the protective paper, press on firmly, preferably with a pressure roller, and leave to rest for 24 hours. After 72 hours the adhesive strength is 100%. The bonding temperature should be above +18°C.
