Logan Mat Cutter 450-1 Artist Elite

The Artist Elite Mat Cutter from Logan is an affordable and easy-to-use mat cutter for accurate and professional cutting of rectangular mounts up to 101 cm length.

The parallel mat guide in aluminium channels allows for quick and accurate marking of the mat cut-out on the back of the matboard. The removable measuring bar is adjustable for border widths from 2 cm to 13 cm. The aluminium guide rail for the hand cutter is fitted with springs to hold the matboard securely. The sturdy, 12.5 mm thick base plate has a groove for the vertical cutter (available as an additional accessory).

The enclosed hand cutter is designed for the exact 45° diagonal cut of mat cut-outs. It is operated by pressing down the blade. The blade depth is adjustable, and the blade holder can be retracted. It has a nylon guide for fitting to the guide rail, as well as a start/stop mark to prevent undercutting or overcutting.
