The Compact Classic from Logan is an inexpensive and easy-to-use mat cutter. It can be used to cut mounts up to 81 cm length.

The parallel mat guide allows you to mark the matboard cut-out on the back of the cardboard quickly and accurately. It also holds the matboard in position when cutting. The guide’s scale is infinitely adjustable for border widths up to 11 cm. The aluminium guide rail for the hand cutter ensures straight cuts.

The enclosed hand cutter is designed for the exact 45° bevel cut of matboard cut-outs. It is operated by pressing down the blade. The blade depth is adjustable and the blade holder can be retracted. It has a start/stop marking to avoid undercutting or overcutting.
