Lineco See-Thru Archival Mounting Strips, Acid-Free – Pack of 60

A professional, conservation-grade mounting solution for artwork, photographs, drawings, and more - completely adhesive-free contact with the original piece.

These high-quality mounting strips are made from archival polyester (Melinex or equivalent) and acid-free paper, allowing for a secure, damage-free attachment of artwork behind mat cut-outs. Ideal for conservation framing and archival presentation.

Application:
Each strip is approximately 4" (10.5 cm) long and 1.2" (3 cm) wide, self-adhesive with a peel-off backing. The strips can be cut to size and are easily applied to the back side of the mat, about 2–3 mm from the edge of the cut-out. The artwork is then gently secured behind the clear, overhanging rigid PVC film. No adhesive ever touches the artwork and the artwork can be removed easily.
