This Classic Brush Set by Daler Rowney includes 10 short-handled brushes in a zip case.

The System 3 brushes are long-lived, durable and can hold large amounts of paint. They are equipped with soft, synthetic fibres whose density allows them to flexibly bend. This range of brushes has been specially developed for acrylic painting. Due to their quality, the brushes have very good elasticity and ensure an ideal flow of paint.

All brushes in this set are short-handled and their relatively soft hairs are best suited for creamy and rather fluid acrylic paints. The ergonomically shaped handle featured by all brushes ensures a balanced grip. The handle design allows to paint over a long period of time and minimises hand fatigue.

The high-quality zip case protects your brushes. The inner part is flexibly designed so that it is possible to arrange the brushes upright - a practical aid while painting.

Round brushes: To fill small areas and paint fine details, to work cleanly along edges and to apply paint in a well-controlled manner. A large round brush is best suited for large-area application, especially of liquid paint.

Short flat brushes: For excellent colour control. Perfect for thick creamy paint and thick lines. The brush edges are ideal for applying details, especially thin lines and corners.

Long Flat brushes: These pointed square-edged brushes can hold a lot of paint and allow for continuous, long brush strokes and a good flow of colour. When used flat, they are ideal for creating large-scale colour applications and broad brushstrokes. At the same time, the sharp edge is perfect for narrow lines.

Filbert brushes: Oval shaped with a slight tip, this brush gives the flexibility of both a round and flat brush and is a must for strong, tapering brushstrokes.

Sky Flow Wash: An extra wide, flat brush that holds a lot of paint at the edges so that precise brush strokes can be made over large areas. It is suitable for picking up a lot of paint and spreading it over large areas. The brush is ideal for wall painting.
