Daler Rowney System 3 Acrylics are highly pigmented water-based colours. All System 3 paints can be used straight from the tube, mixed with acrylic mediums or thinned with water. Their quick drying time enables you to work fast and paint different colours side by side or use overlay techniques without the colours flowing into one other.

With its medium thickness System 3 paint is ideally suited for a thick and controlled application of colour as well as evenly covering bigger surfaces. The acrylic paints are versatile and can be used for traditional paintings, as well as for crafts and artistic designs. They are perfectly suited for experienced hobbyists and professional artists.

The extensive selection of traditional artist’s colours is complemented by special colours like fluorescent colours and metallic colours which maximize your creative possibilities. All System 3 colours can be mixed with one another.

Daler Rowney System 3 acrylic paints are lightfast, permanent and vibrant. Please note that the fluorescent colours are an exception from this. They are not lightfast and fade with time or change their colour - sun exposure accelerates this process.

System 3 Acrylics can be used to paint on paper, wood, canvas and uneven surfaces like plaster or brick walls. They were tested on concrete tiles and proved their durability in all weather conditions, especially in comparison to other acrylic paints. If appropriately primed System 3 Acrylics can even be applied to metallic surfaces and plastics.

Daler Rowney Simply Acrylics are available in 59ml and 150ml tubs.
