Akapad (Wishab) Dry Cleaning Sponge, soft

The Akapad (formerly Wishab) dry cleaning sponge consists of a blue handle with the yellow-orange cleaning layer moulded onto it (active substance AKA). The material of the sponge is particularly suitable for cleaning pictures, frescoes, wall and ceiling paintings, papers and wallpapers, as well as textiles and plastics. By forming crumbs, the Akapad sponge cleans itself and thus enables smudge- and streak-free cleaning.

The Akapad soft dry cleaning sponge is especially suitable for sensitive and structured surfaces.

The active substance AKA is suitable for the safe dry cleaning of superficial soiling on paper, matboard, pictures, frescoes, wall paintings, textiles, paints and also on walls and ceilings. AKA dry cleaning is a cleaning method used especially in the restoration of documents and works of art.

Instructions for use:
The surfaces to be cleaned must be dry and must not stain or chalk. Hold the Akapad sponge by the blue handle and rub the yellow-orange part over the surface. When doing so, press the sponge only hard enough to create an abrasion of crumbs that have absorbed the dirt. The application is dependent on the soiling and nature of the surface to be cleaned.
